Dean Sikorski

December 4, 2014 - April 23, 2022

HATFIELD - Dean Sikorski, 7, of Hatfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 23, 2022, at Baystate Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was born in Northampton on December 4, 2014, to Jason and Heather (Turban) Sikorski. Dean was a kindergartener at Hatfield Elementary School where he enjoyed his music class and playing with his friends with the parachute. Dancing and spinning to his favorite music would always make him smile and long walks with his family through Look Park was one of his favorite pastimes. Dean always liked his warm tubbie time, where he would feel so relaxed. Recently, on a trip to Florida, he got to experience the thrills of Magic Kingdom. He was an avid watcher of all Disney movies, especially Aladdin, he sometimes would get angry when interrupted. But most of all he loved the voices of his siblings and watching them playing. He touched the lives of so many; our beloved, shining, happy boy, the light of our lives and the star of our hearts and leaves us smiling through our tears. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Besides his loving parents, Jason, and Heather, he is survived by his brother Aidan Hopfenspringer, and his sister; Alexa all of Hatfield, his grandparents; Eddie and Frannie Sikorski of Hatfield, Kerry Walters-Naumowicz of S. Deerfield, Jeffrey Turban of Easthampton, Joseph Lisewski of Turners Falls, great-grandparents, Gladys Sikorski of Hatfield, Theo Cooper of Easthampton, Jack Cooper of Whately, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his great grandparents, Henry, and Janet Turban. There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Sunday May 22, 2022 at Look Park in Florence at the Westwood Pavilion at 1 PM. The family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 11AM – 1PM at the pavilion. A luncheon will be provided following the service. DROZDAL FUNERAL HOME of Northampton has been entrusted with his services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Dean Sikorski to his parents; Jason and Heather Sikorski, 67 King St., Hatfield, MA 01038 or https://gofund.me/6f3931b7 All donations will be used to keep Deans memory alive by planting a tree for everyone to see at Look Park.
