Larry D. Honeyman

Larry D. Honeyman, 82, of Southampton, formally of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Monday October 3, 2022, at Linda Manor Extended Care Facility in Leeds. He was born in Troy, Ohio on July 30, 1940, to the late Lloyd and Dorthea (Seeker) Honeyman. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country proudly. While in the service he moved to Massachusetts, and it was there where he met and fell in love with his wife Patricia. They soon married and raised two beautiful daughters. Larry had worked over 30 years at Coca Cola in Northampton as a Field Technician before his retirement. He always enjoyed the thrills of power boat racing and was part of his brother-in-law’s pro-stock race car team. Larry was a large part of the 4H organization at the Big E and other local fairs; he was always organizing events and helping both his own daughters and his granddaughters with whatever had to be done. Larry was always there to help and take photos of the young kids with their animals for all their families to see. He liked to travel, and camping too, but most of the togetherness with his family is what he truly cherished. He will be fondly remembered by all who loved him. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia (Kulessa) Honeyman of Southampton, daughters, Heidi Kubosiak and her husband Todd of Southampton, Heather Willard and her husband Todd of Northampton, his grandchildren Kimberly and Nicholas Kubosiak of Southampton, and Amanda and Caitlin Willard of Northampton, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Robert Honeyman, and sister, Linda Caddy. The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, staff, and students at Linda Manor nursing home for their kind and compassionate care Larry received, especially Scott Duseau, Jeffrey, Sarah, and Val whom he cared for very much.
